New Team

    • Team Registration Fee: $350 CAD ($250 USD)
    • Taxes & shipping for Season Materials from FIRST Headquarters: $40 CAD ($30 USD) 
    • Robotics Kit (can be reused from year to year)
      • LEGO SPIKE Prime Set: $500 CAD/set (+ taxes & shipping)
      • Optional Expansion Kit: $170 CAD/set (+ taxes & shipping) 
    • Challenge Set: $110 CAD (+ taxes & shipping)
    • Tournament Registration Fee: up to $150 CAD/team
    • Table Construction Materials: $100 CAD (can be reused from year to year)

    • 6 Robotics Kits (can be reused from year to year): $3000 CAD
      • LEGO SPIKE Prime Core Set: $500 CAD/set (+ taxes & shipping)
    • 2 Challenge Sets: $0 (included with Class Pack Registration)
    • Tournament Registration Fee: $150 (optional)
    • Table Construction Materials: $100 (can be reused from year to year)

Please note that applications for these rebates will open on May 14, 2024 and will only be accepted from officially registered teams or Class Pack account holders

  • FIRST Robotics Canada first-year team rebate ($600)
  • FIRST Robotics Canada Second-year team rebate ($200)
  • Qualcomm first-year team rebate ($1000) or second-year team rebate ($350)
  • FIRST Robotics Canada new Class Pack rebate ($1500) 
  • Qualcomm new Class Pack rebate ($3600)

Grant Eligibility

FIRST Robotics Canada Team Grant

  1. A limited number of $600 first-year and  $200 second-year team rebates are available to officially registered teams on a first-come, first-served basis.
  2. FIRST Canada team rebate recipients agree to coach a team during the 2024-25 SUBMERGED season and to participate in a qualifying tournament with their team in December 2024.
  3. Schools or community organizations with multiple teams can only apply for up to two FIRST Canada team rebates and will be placed on a waiting list for any additional teams.
  4. FIRST Canada team rebate recipients are not eligible for other rebates (i.e., FIRST Canada Class Pack rebates, Qualcomm team rebates, Qualcomm Class Pack rebates).

Qualcomm Team Grant

  1. A limited number of $1000 first-year and $350 second-year Qualcomm team rebates are available to teams consisting of underserved, underrepresented or vulnerable youth.
  2. Rebate recipients agree to:
    • coach a team during the 2024-25 SUBMERGED season and to participate in a qualifying tournament with their team in December 2024
    • submit pictures, videos and testimonials from throughout the season to FIRST Canada, to thank sponsors for their financial support
    • incorporate the Qualcomm logo with their team branding (i.e., team shirts, team poster, etc.)
  3. Qualcomm team rebate recipients are not eligible for other rebates (i.e., FIRST Canada team rebates, FIRST Canada Class Pack rebates, Qualcomm Class Pack rebates) 

FIRST Canada Class Pack Grant

  1. A limited number of FIRST Canada Class Pack rebates are available to first-year Class Pack account holders on a first-come, first-served basis.
  2. Priority will be given to teachers who will be implementing the FLL Challenge program in their classrooms during the 2024-25 SUBMERGED season.
  3. Rebate recipients agree to submit pictures, videos, and testimonials from throughout the season to FIRST Canada to thank sponsors for their financial support
  4. FIRST Canada Class Pack rebate recipients are not eligible for other rebates (i.e., FIRST Canada team rebates, Qualcomm team rebates, Qualcomm Class Pack rebates)

Qualcomm Class Pack Grant

  1. A limited number of Qualcomm Class Pack rebates are available to first-year Class Pack account holders with students from of underserved, underrepresented or vulnerable populations.
  2. Priority will be given to teachers who will be implementing the FLL Challenge program in their classrooms during the 2024-25 SUBMERGED season.
  3. Rebate recipients agree to:
    • submit pictures, videos and testimonials from throughout the season to FIRST Canada, to thank sponsors for their financial support
    • make visible the Qualcomm logo with their classroom, school, marketing materials and external media, according to the branding guidelines
  4. Qualcomm Class Pack rebate recipients are not eligible for other rebates (i.e., individual team rebates, Qualcomm team rebates)

Early Registration Grant

  1. A limited number of $150 rebates are available to officially registered new or returning teams that register for the 2024-25 Submerged season before June 28, 2024.
  2. FIRST Canada early registration rebate recipients agree to coach a team during the 2024-25 SUBMERGED season and to participate in a qualifying tournament with their team in December 2024.
  3. FIRST Canada early registration rebate recipients are also eligible for other rebates (i.e., FIRST Canada Team rebates, Qualcomm team rebates).

STEAM Program for Youths Grant

  1. A limited number of STEAM Program for Youths rebates are available to any team consisting of a majority of girls from a public school or non-profit organization in Ontario.
  2. Rebate recipients agree to:
    • coach a team during the 2023-24 MASTERPIECE season and to participate in a qualifying tournament with their team in December 2023
    • submit pictures, videos and testimonials from throughout the season to FIRST Canada, to thank sponsors for their financial support
    • make visible the STEAM Program for Youths logo alongside any team branding and as part of their team image
    • attend a full-day workshop from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 15 (in person in Markham) OR on Monday, October 16 (remote)
  3. STEAM Program for Youths rebate recipients can receive this rebate for up to three years and are also eligible for FIRST Canada and Qualcomm team rebates in their first and second year.
