About Camp

Robotics North Society in collaboration with FIRST Robotics Canada, with thanks to McCall and MacBain are excited to offer “FIRST LEGO League in a Week.” Supervised by Robotics North Society and alumni from Yukon FTC teams.  Campers will learn to build and code and then compete with their EV3, Spike Prime robot in an informal competition on the final day. The public and parents will be invited to attend the afternoon festivities on the last day to celebrate their child’s achievements.

What to expect:

During the camp, participants will delve into the fundamentals of being part of a FIRST LEGO League team (FLL). This camp will introduce students to basic building and coding with LEGO Spike Prime to create a competitive robot. Daily activities also encompass Team-Building Games, outdoor pursuits, LEGO Engineering projects, and more.

Robotics north society was founded as a non-profit society in 2018 to support and facilitate FIRST robotics in the Yukon.

About FIRST Robotics Canada 

Established in 2001 and officially incorporated in 2004, FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Canada, a registered charity, has been dedicated to igniting the passion for science, technology, and engineering among Canadian high school and elementary school students. The organization encourages students to pursue further studies and careers in these fields.

Camp Fee:

$275 (Five Days Including National Indigenous Peoples Day) 
Applications are ongoing until spaces are filled. Those who are accepted into the camp will receive notification and a payment link.Â
