Youth attending the FIRST Robotics Day Camp, run by FIRST-certified staff, will have a summer camp experience they’ll remember for a lifetime!  The students will be fully engaged throughout the whole week, as they learn about LEGO robotics and coding in a fun atmosphere.  They will develop their basic skills by designing, building and programming a robot with a partner to solve mini challenges and then advance to the big challenge for the remainder of the week with us.  The various experiences throughout the week will build skills, allow the participants to get to know each other through team-building exercises, and stay physically active through outdoor activities including sports and games, such as Ultimate Frisbee, Capture the Flag, and 4-way soccer.  The week will culminate with a Parent Showcase that will provide parents with an opportunity to see what their children have been learning, building, and coding.  The kids might even get to teach their parents a thing or two!
